I did feel the finale was a bit anti-climactic, though I understand that's how the book ended too.
Overall a dense, rich, story, with great production values.
Haven't seen the film, but I read an article on Justin Kuritzkes the other day.
What I found interesting is that he is the husband of Celine Song, who wrote and directed Past Lives, another movie about a love "triangle".
Just a bit of coincidental trivia...
Hopefully they're keeping some of the big reveals for when it's released.
For me, the trailer is not mind-blowing per se, but had enough nuggets to keep the anticipation high.
My hope is the duo visit many more places than just that wasteland-type environment.
Someone on Reddit pointed out that in the scene showing the Ant-man helmet, Lady Deathstrike from X2 and Azazel from First Class are in front of the stairs.
And it could be Toad (X-Men) and Callisto (X-Men The Last Stand) to the left of the frame.
Observations:
* Fans should be happy with the classic sleeveless yellow costume for Wolverine (after early filming shots showed him with full-length sleeves)
