What needs to be changed is people's misuse of the word, but that's unlikely when people here can't learn simple facts like it's Hawaii Five-0 with a zero not the letter O (both series).
H&I also shrinks the credits sometimes but they may not be consistent. Even worse are those networks that display the closing credits over the last few seconds of the episode itself (COZI and Get TV).
I saw something strange the other day on Antenna TV as I Dream of Jeannie segued over to...
I'm not an expert in Gomer Pyle closing credits but I think it was only used in one or two seasons. The trend was to make closing credits shorter and I think that part eventually was cut out.
Maybe because the whole season sucked without Howard Hesseman and with some stand-up comic who only wanted to crack jokes instead of teaching and with a bunch of obnoxious kids who replaced the original students the year before.
Nah, lack of quality never stopped anything from being released...
Only if they go back to the original elements and redo the whole series like Star Trek TNG. Unlikely. Since it was originally edited on tape the PQ will suffer and will only draw complaints from everyone.
The Mystery Movie theme is also on Mancini's 1976 album "The Cop Show Themes" including themes from The Rockford Files, Hawaii Five-0, Kojak, Streets of San Francisco, Police Woman and Baretta.
Oddly enough on ABP Denise Miller's boyfriend was played by Barry Gordon while on Fish he was a 29-yr old psychologist supervising the then 14-yr old Miller (similar to Linda Evans playing a friend of John Forsythe's niece on Bachelor Father then his wife on Dynasty.)
Green Acres did TWO backdoor pilots at the end of the series, the only two episodes of the series not directed by Richard L. Bare (other than the pilot which was more of a clip show).
It was mentioned in a book ("Star Trek Lives!"?)that there were 26 episodes planned for the third season (William Shatner was set to direct one of the last two) and DURING the filming of Turnabout Intruder it was announced that the final two were dropped by NBC because of ratings. I'm sure...
Probably not. When I made that post, I looked up all the NCIS series on epguides and they added to 999. Generally an episode of a series is a part of that series regardless of what characters appear on it. For example the Hawaii Five-0 (2010) episodes various NCIS characters appeared on weren't...
But on the DVD is it the original Rockford pilot as shown on NBC or the version released by Universal on VHS?
The original featured the same recording of the theme music as heard in the first season, the VHS version was newly recorded, possibly in stereo.
The original had the usual commercial...
