Danny, I had the NSP1 II's with an HTR-5650. That receiver is rated 95 watts x 6 @ 1kHz --just like the new HTR-5760. It is not too much for those speakers. The whole idea of getting the NSP1 II system was to save money and still get wonderful sound--it works. The only reason I got rid of them...

I would rather not, Todd. I have the speakers and accessories all together in one box. But, I appreciate your inquiry--if you have anymore just send me a PM. Nicholas Spanenberg
I appologize, Carl. I had not realized until just now that my e-mail address was not current. I have altered my profile so it should reveal my updated address. Again, sorry for any inconvenience but please resend your e-mail message--I am eager to hear what you have to say. Nicholas Spanenberg
Hi, I appreciate your reply. I will ship the speakers from Indianapolis. The United Parcel Service (UPS) online calculator has estimated a price that will range between $12.50-$32.50. Obviously, price increases with size and distance: that will ultimately determine the shipping price. Thank you...
**For Sale** You are sure to put some pound in your sound with this one. With 150 watts of raw power and incredibly low distortion you can't help but love this 10" beauty. Ha ha, your neighbors are sure gonna freak out when their drinks start to shake and their walls begin to rattle. You'll...
What you will get: 1 JBL NSP1 II center/surround speaker package--great for low budget, beginner, or second system--in original box and packing materials. This system has been used for less than a year at moderate levels in a 6.1 configuration voice matched with a pair of N38II floorstanding...
don't toe them out! The tweeters in those speakers are designed specifically for extra wide dispersion. Toeing them should have nothing to do with the clarity of the sound. What receiver are you using? The Sony DE series I suspect. Thats your problem... The AS-B1's are wonderful! Another...
If you're into wood grain finishes JBL's are the only ones that give you the option. I believe that JBL package deal is wonderful. You save about $300. Those dual 6" 3.5-way E80 speakers pack some major punch for the foot print they occupy. The HTR-5650 is a deal by itself, with component...
Flat frequency response is one of the things I go for as well as a flat EQ setting. Horns allow me to get the definition I desire in the high frequencies without having to enhance the frequencies from the output source introducing what I perceive to be audible distortion. You know what...
Take a look at the Klipsch Quintet system at Best Buy. It's package priced at $899.99. You get 4 heavy-duty pedestal/wall and ceiling mounts, plastic cones and rubber surrounds, the fairly efficient KSW-10 10" sub, a surprisingly well performing center channel and the Yamaha HTR-5640. It's a 5.1...
I can't believe no one recomended the Sony! It would have been perfect for your application. I have yet to find a receiver that is easier to use than the 185. Also, you say the majority of the other components are Sony... Your family already understands Sony; now they have to learn a new brand...
I was just interested to know why you were selling... Did you get a case of upgraditis? Or did the wife get mad? I find that to be a pretty decent HTiB, especially for the low, low, price. I'm no where near being a fan of HTiBs but still, for an HTiB, it's not horrible...
sure, extended warranties are offered with credit cards, but normal wear and tear, dust, heat and humidity do not qualify as a "manufacture's defect." Precisely why Best Buy does not sell extended warranties. If you read the title on the front of the brochure they give you, no where does it say...
Go to Best Buy! try out the Klipsch Quintet and KSW-10 packaged for $899. That's if you have a Best Buy in Canada... Just see if you can't find it-- I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the cost/performance ratio. Nick
