Ah thanks, I must have missed that part. It was a creative bottle show. I’m liking this season quite a bit. It improves on the previous two seasons. They had promise but the writing just wasn’t there for me,
The question that always bugs me about these episodes is why don’t the past selves remember what occurred? unless it caused an alternate t8me line branch or some such thing or the time line adjusted for it. It should have come to Burnham but then the suspense may be eliminated if it did already...
Well…not as bad as O thought it would be but still not a good film. On par with “Morbius”. Maybe they should stop trying to build a Spider-Man universe. That hasn’t really worked out for them though “Venom” was pretty good.
It is indeed or was a big budget at the time. The original plan was for a society of apes living at our level but that was scaled back due to budget concerns. I have no issue with the action in the film. It was, after all, made in the late 60’s.
i agree that Burton’s film had its own share of...
It was an awful movie. Great make up, great over-the-top performance from Tim Roth. Wanlberg is badly miscast. Promising opening and fell apart from there.
Reynolds had a run of making some really good movies before he started making movies like Cannonball Run (I’ll admit as entertaining as those kind of movies can be, they are, at least for me bad).
Sorry to hear they didn’t do the wise thing and put it on a 100 vs. The 66GB. I’ll still pick it up but am disappointed they do the right thing but the $$ saving thing.
For its time, it was a big budget Especially for a science fiction film. That changed with 2001 which was 10 million vs. The. 5 million (before advertising) of Planet. I disagree the second film is less competent- the film had its budget slashed just before shooting and Ted Post was a good...
It’s been decades since I’ve read the novel but, as I recall, the novel’s twist is that the hero Ulysse returns to Earth flying over Paris and when they land, they discover Earth is occupied by apes.
Serling’s original final draft was rewritten by Michael Wilson and retooled by him with the...
in defense of what Paul Dehn tried to do with the sequels he wrote, I think that they did the best they could with the money and tools at their disposal. The entire series was a money grab. Nothing Unique about that or with sequels. In the case of the sequels, Paul Dehn worked with the elements...
I don’t disagree. One can’t judge films today by contemporary beliefs otherwise we wouldn’t be able to watch anything. Just noting it. Much of that went over my head when I saw it as a kid.
I liked this less than Mann’s film and feel Norton was miscast. It’s a good film but I also feel the added screen time for Lecter was padding to justify having Hopkins.
One of the concerns have I have with Blu-rays being made in Mexico has been their poor quality control. Wonder if that also applies to any disc rot as well?
