Wait til Disney opens their own streaming service...and others follow. Then we'll have to subscribe to 10 different services to get content from multiple studios. And, yes, I know Disney owns Movies Anywhere but every studio is gonna want their own exclusive service.
Which was my mistake....but if a disc had been released I wouldn't have to play "Who's on First" as to which streaming service to purchase from. Segmented choices is the biggest issue I have with cord cutting and why I'll never cut the cord or forego physical media.
My only problem is the exclusive Apple ecosphere....I don't have Apple TV. I have Movies Anywhere, Vudu, and FandangoNow so my iTunes purchases only play on Apple TV. I purchased the iTunes 4k version but can't watch it anywhere but on my iPhone. My TV is Android based (Vizio M Series). Thats...
Post office snafu with my copy.
It was "out for delivery" yesterday and with another Amazon order, and then at 8:11 last night I got a message on my Amazon app that "delivery attempted but did not want to leave unattended". Problem is, I was sitting on my front porch smoking a cigar at 8:11...

I've heard plenty of horror stories about ARC but I use it for streaming...
Not to steal KL Insider's thunder (But I Will :)
Over at the other forum, KL announced the following (re: Rider in the Rain announcement)
"We just signed a deal with Studio Canal. And Rider on the Rain is part of this large deal
130 titles.
Yes, we do have some horror titles.
SC also did...
This, this, and this. No way around it, this being a digital-only release is BAD news for physical media buffs. But then we'll die and the milennials will be happy.
Or any other Paramount film. They've done this with War of the Worlds and now It's a Wonderful Life, one of the most beloved films of all time. Highly doubt we'll see them release other films on disc now.
Not to get into THAT debate, but you don't OWN it, you license it (read the end user agreement for all the digital services) and they can take it back anytime they want. I don't do digital unless is comes with a disc.
This one makes no sense. This has been a consistent seller for them or else...
