I listen to Eddie Trunk’s show on SiriusXM Faction Talk, and he goes nuts about how rock artists are ignored, or wait way too long to be recognized. Boston, Grand Funk Railroad, Iron Maiden and Ronnie James Dio are my top 4 injustices. Other omissions- EL&P, Paul Rogers and Styx.

I drove a manual transmission tractor trailer for quite a few years- never have owned a stick shift car. I know I’d try to float the gears, and I have heard it doesn’t work. 🤪

Surprised that you can still get a stick shift, without special order.

Easy to predict infrastructure will never be adequate for the masses to have one. Just won’t work for everyone.

Funny seeing the cassette included in the deluxe packaging. I wonder if there’s any audio on it. Cassettes have sort of become a thing once again, in physical media music releases. That baffles me.

Watched this KL UHD recently. I thought it looked nice. Good film, except for that terrible action one-liner delivered by Weller’s character.

I hate bees. Used to swell up something awful, when I got stung. Hurt like Hell, too. Trout injured his knee during Monday’s win vs the Phils, and will have surgery to repair the damage. He is expected to return this season, but will be on the sidelines for an extended period of time. 🙁

I have this on BluRay. Need to see it again- it’s been forever. I really like the extended cut- the scenes that show how Leon gets into dwellings. I like Oldman’s work too.

I guess it’s a good thing that I don’t look for specific chapters when I put a film on. Now that you mentioned it, the KL UHD discs generally have a play, setup and subtitle icon in the menu page, and no chapter icon. As for Body Snatchers- I have that one, but don’t recall if mine has a slipcover.

Yes Play Misty For Me would be a better idea for a remake. I don’t care for The Gauntlet- my vote for worst Eastwood film.
