I’ve purchased quite a few French language Kino-Lorber discs from the 1950s-1990s and the reason I purchased them were the included audio commentary tracks.

Would there ever be a chance of Kino-Lorber releasing the 1960 Otto Preminger film “Exodus” on blu-ray or 4K UHD? I think it’s an underrated film. I would love to see it with an audio commentary track and some special features. I know that Twilight Time released it on blu-ray back in 2016.

I am trying to figure out when the Cohen Media sale ends. On the Kino web site it says Thursday February 19th, but there is no such date!

This is quite a brilliant political satire and comedy. Bravo to Kino-Lorber for giving this very underappreciated film a proper physical release with two audio commentaries, no less. I am definitely getting this one.

Sometimes you gotta do that. I usually base my purchase decisions on the special features and audio commentary content. But I also like the superb video and audio quality of 4K UHD.

Does anyone have a guess as to the dates of the next Kino Lorber disc sale?

I will get the Audie Murphy sets so long as the movies have Audio Commentary tracks. I feel like Audie Murphy is an underrated actor. His Western films tend to vary in quality from good to very good.

This is wonderful. I always wanted to get the Olive Signature edition but this is even better. I purchased the 4K UHD edition of the 1978 remake in the last Kino-Lorber sale. I will get this one too.

It’s a wonderful thing when Kino-Lorber releases an excellent Blu-ray Disc of a great movie, and it sells so well that Kino-Lorber is able to then release an even better version on 4K UHD.

This is a fantastic choice for a 4K release. It has such a realistic feel to me. Great movie.

That is a really interesting take that you have on both films. You have motivated me to go back and watch both films back to back.

Maybe Scarlet Street on blu-ray for $9.99 might be an even better choice.

I have the opposite problem. I quickly got to over $150 in my cart and now I’m trying to pare it back to something closer to $50.

I watched The Counterfeit Traitor several years ago and I liked it very much. I’m very happy that KL is releasing it on Blu-Ray.
