I thought the Remini El Cid was by far better than the other versions I have … including the newest Japanese release. Don’t have Roman Empire yet but would be getting the Remini unless someone releases a better version.

It was ok. Nothing special. Was in stereo. Couldn’t compare in presentation to the original roadshow at the Warner. The Rozsa score in all its glory!

I saw El Cid at an East Side Theatre probably in the 1990’s. It was certainly not in 70mm .
