    Overall, no, but their refusal to engage any boutique labels that might be interested in licensing Disney content for a physical release sort of says that's part of the equation in the end.

    It's been explained several times in the Mill Creek/Disney thread. As Josh reiterated, again, the deal was never about any "new" titles, only keeping a certain slate of previously issued catalog titles in-print.

    For Disney, the profits have to be tremendous to even bother. They're not interested in small amounts of profit, even if the venture would be considered "successful" by many other businesses. If they can't make hundreds of millions, they're not interested.
