Unfortuantely, you will probably need to play CSR roulette to get someone on the line with a brain. I know the letter that you mention, as I got one myself. I no longer have it, but you are right, it clearly stated NO COMMITMENT. One thing though.....the upgrade is/was NOT a necessity...
