    When you buy the lifetime subscription, is it attached to the DVR or to the customer? It's only a true lifetime if attached to the customer.

    Are there really DVRs that cost $1K? I know, I just wanted to point out that the Tivo can't work for me. Is it a licensing issue that Tivo won't work with DTV? Perhaps DTV wants its customers to only have their DVRs.

    I can't understand why producers of commercial supported content would have anything to do with skipmode. It's like opening a golf course and letting everyone play for free.
