Different services can accept different formats in some cases but 16x9 is universally compatible from a year 2023 technical perspective. So if you’ve only got money in the budget for one - that’s the one to do. CBS also has more money available than MPI.

I’m really torn here. I’d love to see more episodes in better quality than what I have, but I don’t want another best-of anthology. I’d rather have the complete series or at least a season set rather than more patchwork.

Awesome! I will probably pass on curated best of sets, but I would definitely be onboard for season sets, especially for the Thorny years. Much credit to MPI for taking it on - putting out releases of public domain material can be a risky venture and their willingness to do so should be applauded.
