The FOX set has a different version of that episode? I might have to pick it up and check it out. Anything else of interest there such as perhaps an episode that FOX somehow slipped up during the butchering process and managed to do a better job of presenting it on DVD than Shout Factory did?

It's a tie between 'A Commercial Break' and 'Turkey's Away' for me.

Just finished watching season 4 and hopped on here wondering what was wrong with this episode since at 12:40, something certainly seems to be missing. But instead of my curiosity being satisfied, it sounds like it might actually be intact. I have no recollections of this episode and how it...

Is all the content from the bonus disc pulled from the earlier season 1 release from Fox? Or is there some new material exclusive to here? Thanks

The FOX set doesn't look that bad, judging from screenshots that I've seen from various reviews over the years for that disaster. Those shots he's comparing to look like they're sourced from a home-made DVD set of off-air recordings of the syndicated versions.

The only streaming I do is free stuff on YouTube. Even there, it can be annoying when once in a while, it decides to freeze for a few seconds due to buffering. I hate how so many people equate change to "progress", when it usually entails taking two steps backwards for whatever improvement...

CBS would be best off when they deem a music edit is needed in those two Paul Henning sitcoms, if they just selected cleared music commonly used on the show as a substitute (It might even slip by many a fan then that an edit has happened). Or at the very least, leave the background silent during...

No Costco's around here, too bad they don't seem to sell it online. :( As much as I love this show, i'm afraid $100 is a bit more than I can really justify at this time (Although I think it's a completely fair price, especially given the effort and extra expenses associated with this show).

In their defense, it was news around here as well and doesn't seem to be really understood. It's not like when they release a season set and three or four episodes run significantly shorter than the rest and they didn't blink an eye, maintaining teasers in the obviously wrong position that...

It makes no sense that they'd dub modifications made years later onto the original master tapes. If something crept in from what you said that MTM did in the 90's, they either made a deliberate decision to use that source for that particular episode or perhaps that's all they had available.
