Same here. I've been placing dozens of orders a year for media and have never had any damaged during delivery. Mine are all mostly in the padded envelopes, too. Maybe the USPS just handles things more roughly in some areas?

US Mail delivered a package to me on Sunday from Deep Discount. There was no special "express" shipping indicated. I think they were just trying to get caught up from the forced day off last week.

Probably a third party seller fulfilled by Amazon. I quite often find customized labels on those items. Must be how Amazon tracks the seller's merchandise in the warehouse and keeps it separate from their own (which would use the original UPC).

Have you had that many defectives? I have thousands of discs and don't really recall any issues with defective discs. The only thing I recall was purchasing the Back to the Future DVD set and finding I had the first film and two copies of the third, but no Part II.

I would wait until I get a shipping notice for the prior order.

You could also place separate orders a day or two apart, separating the big bulky items from the smaller items, and the items would likely be packaged and shipped separately. I doubt Amazon will care enough to individually package separate items within a single order. One of the caveats of the...
