Seems like the last time it worked automatically for me was probably for The Marvels in mid-Nov. Not sure what else as I see "movie submission" points added 3x (once w/ double points) around a couple days from that time -- actually, maybe some are for disc codes(?), but not sure. Definitely...
That's a bit of a bummer.
Actually, I hadn't been paying attention, but I haven't been getting rewards points for any of my movie-going in some time -- they should be automatic since I always use Fandango and my account is (still) linked.
For instance, did/do they give rewards for the...
You mean this TPM poster?
https://www.amazon.com/Trends-International-Star-Wars-Anniversary/dp/B0CWHHY1VW
For the nearly-24-hour marathon I attended over the weekend, they gave out a surprisingly high quality, heavy card stock w/ nicely embossed gold lettering, wide version of that...
Actually, that lucky number thing might be mostly (at least originally) a southern Chinese thing... or maybe even mainly Cantonese probably due mostly to how it sorta rhymes w/ the character for (growing) wealth. That seems to be pretty typical w/ such, including how they don't like the number...
You didn't include the 8, right?
Apparently, it's 8 points for the code: YEAROFTHEDRAGON
And yes, it's the year of the Dragon! Happy Lunar New Year!
FWIW, I'm guessing it's worth an unusual 8 points because 8 is some kinda good luck number for Chinese -- not sure about other East...
Alrighty, y'all sold me on that quote book, LOL. At just 600pts, probably something of a no-brainer I guess... although I don't (personally) know anyone I could (likely) give it away as gift, if I decide not to keep it for myself, LOL...
I generally enjoy (and probably even love) much of...
Wait. In all that, are you actually accounting for the fact there are 2 completely different films by that name (at least in English) as noted by Todd above?
The Eric Rohmer film (that Todd referenced) seemed to belong to Columbia Pictures(?), but licensed to Criterion (for however long)...
Not just the actual programmers themselves, but whatever management/support infrastructure they need to pay for and bother managing, etc.
I'm sure upper management would rather one less thing to worry about.
But as long as the apps are still around and need even minimal support, things can go...
Thanks for that rec/reminder of The Place Beyond the Pines, Jake... though I (and maybe some others) already bought that on iTunes probably for $5 (on periodically recurring sale) some time ago, but just haven't gotten around to watching so far -- it's stuck in my huge backlog as usual...

What link? You mean we can still get to some older digital offers that should've expired and still redeem them? Had no idea...
IF so, I would like to try as I missed one or two in the past year... :P

That Indiana Jones Funko is kinda tempting I guess, but I'm a cheap bastard, so not sure I wanna spend 800pts on it... even though I don't have much other uses for those points, LOL. :P:laugh::laugh::laugh:

I might've jumped on this myself, but for whatever reasons, my family just never quite warmed up enough to the idea of (these particular?) rats gourmet cooking, haha... ;):P:laugh::laugh::laugh: so I'm fine w/ just the old BD (plus the 4K digital I bought at a good discounted, net price a while...
Those Ant-Man Funkos look cute/cool. Woulda gone for them if they're more like 400-500pts each... or maybe if there's just 1 of them at 800pts I guess -- feels like I'd have to get both if I bother at all, and that would probably be a bit too much at 800pts each. Maybe I'll still end up caving...
Just snagged one too, LOL -- had completely forgot, but just happened to check here now.
Not completely sure what I'll do w/ it though. I actually enjoy (very) sporadically collecting a little Mickey memorabilia and/or fun, but functional, doo-dads myself... but not sure about this as I...
Anyone know if that reward for The Professional 4K redeems the theatrical or extended cut or both (in 4K)? There seems 2 separate entries on Movies Anywhere for those... although the theatrical one seems to also include extended cut (but maybe only in HD?) along w/ other stuff for bonus...
BTW, odd to finally get a DMI email apparently alerting me about my reward points earned for seeing the Avatar re-release back in late-Sept, LOL. I've never earned points this way before, so had no idea what to expect. Since I used Fandango for the ticket purchase and my account is linked, it...
Anyone have these (or similar from DMI)?
I could maybe use some (more) coasters and was actually eye-ing this when it first went on sale... though I know nothing about this movie, LOL -- guess I could just watch it on D+(?), but been busy binging/catching up on other stuff w/ higher priority...
I imagine virtually all people in the higher tax brackets (above 24%) wouldn't even bother w/ DMI at all, let alone entry into this sweepstakes, hehheh.

Hmmm... perhaps so... I haven't been around Lutherans much beyond my father-in-law -- and one wouldn't even know he's Lutheran at all if not told by someone else, LOL, since he never mentions it (or much of anything else, especially about himself)... :P
Presbys are the "frozen chosen", haha...
Ah, ok, looks like a primarily Lutheran thing (though some others might use such as well). I'm more Reformed/Presby (w/ some bit of non-denom/Baptist influence), but really, I didn't even actually grow up w/ any Christian faith at all -- my side of my entire extended family are not Christian at...
Doh! What the heck is that about??? I (and my church) actually celebrate Advent -- and I even made a wreath w/ candles to use at home this time around -- but no clue what the heck that SW Advent Calendar would be about, LOL...

Bummers they sold out that quickly. Ah well... I probably shouldn't add more junk to my pile anyway, LOL...
RE: those advanced screening passes, they're probably for overflows (like what I received for Wakanda Forever) and may not be guaranteed seats (let alone decent seats) nor quality of...
Well, that advanced screening was a bit disappointing/underwhelming... because it was just at one of their lesser (non-3D) screens (even though their IMAX screen wasn't otherwise booked for anything... at least available for the general public)... *and* it was oddly a very low budget affair that...
I can't imagine they'd just do such a screening in 2D, especially in that venue... unless they somehow messed up or something (and/or not actually using that giant IMAX screen, which seems highly unlikely since it's apparently not booked for anything after Black Adam at 12:30 while the Dolby...
Thanks, David!
Just got my passes for this at the AMC Lincoln Square (in Manhattan) -- presumably, it's for their giant IMAX screen in 3D there. :D Better hope and pray I'm over my mildly flu-like cold by then... :P
