I'm sure Producers love the money that Nolan saves by avoiding the use of ADR in his films. It's got to be a money saver.
Not sure why other Directors would vote for Nolan because, sadly, the lack of using ADR makes too much of his films unintelligible.

Which underscores my comment about 'Budgetary Deal Maker' award. A casting director who (with requisite support from the producer(s) and/or director) can make the best talent vs. cost "deal" is potentially the winner of the category.

Seems to me the Casting Director award could also be called the 'Budgetary Deal Maker' award. Most of the top-ranked talent in Hollywood is well beyond the budgetary limits of most films.

I've only seen two of the nominated Best Picture films. If the plodding Oppenheimer wins any of the top awards, I'll be disappointed. My money is on Killers of the Flower Moon to win the most awards, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Lily Gladstone.
