Sherri has been super slow to respond. My last replacement took about three months, from first contact to my receiving the replacement disc.
One time I had to follow up twice about my return label. She said she sent it, I never received, so she sent a new one.
I’m assuming she’s super busy...
Hmmm. I recently emailed her. [email protected] is her email address. She responded right away this time.
Has anyone contacted her multiple times? I have contacted her twice now and I feel a little guilty. I shouldn’t!
I just wish they had an official disc replacement program...
I’m glad that most of mine were online purchases, from Amazon, so it was no problem finding receipts. One of mine was a gift, and it wasn’t a problem that I didn’t have the receipt.
I still have a couple of DVDs that’s I have to contact her about. It will have to wait until after Christmas...
I don’t know. I’ve tried playing some in a DVD drive connected to my computer and they still don’t work. Also, if the player plays other DVDs fine, then it would seem to be more of a disc issue.
Did you email Sherri directly? I sent an email to the general customer service email and never got a reply. I emailed Sherri and she got back to me in about a week.
I tried this. The fog disappeared and a quick skip through makes it seem like it worked! I’ll have to watch it through to be sure.
My disc with Female/Three on a Match has problems though, and no fog issues. Minor. I didn’t notice until I watched it. When I forwarded through the problems...
I received a pressed disc. Unfortunately, the replacement disc that I received was also bad! I still haven’t contacted them about it. I’m re-watching some more discs first.
They do send you MOD discs from Warner Archive if discs are out of print. I feel like they need a streamlined way to get replacement discs out. Dealing with Sherri is fine, but if you email them directly they don’t respond. I found Sherri’s contact info through this forum.
Many of us have had...
Same. I feel more confident with MODs!
I watched Night Nurse and the pre-code special (Thou Shalt Not) from the Forbidden Hollywood Volume Two set this weekend. Played fine.
I made myself a little schedule to watch all my WB discs. Just forwarding through doesn’t catch all problems...
I got my replacement discs this weekend. I took a quick look at them and noticed that my Divorcee/A Free Soul disc looked funny. I tried it out and it freezes and skips! The new one I just got.
I want to watch a few more of my movies and then Inguess I’ll have to re-contact Sherri.
I watched “Female” on the Forbidden Hollywood vol 2 set last night. There were several areas of skipping at the end. I had thought it was okay when I fast forwarded through the entire movie.
Guess I better keep actually watching my WB discs. I just sent about 7 back to be replaced. I think...
I went through my entire collection of WB DVDs and found problems with the following discs:
Flying Down to Rio (Astaire/Rogers Collection)
Forbidden Hollywood vol 2 disc 1 (The Divorcee/A Free Soul)
Popeye vol 1 discs 1 & 4
Looney Tunes Golden Collection vol 1 disc 1 & vol 5 disc 4
I Love You...
I rebought my Mickey Rooney/Judy Garland set. The cheaper TCM version. But Amazon refunded me half the original purchase price, so it cost me about a dollar out of pocket.
When I discovered that my Forbidden Hollywood Volume 2 had problems I thought that WB really should make this right...
