No they will not, even if the rep says they do. Don't waste your time Bryan. They're just as very successful with you or without you. After being a customer for over 30 years I made my last intended Amazon purchase on July 25th, 2023 and then my final purchase on July 31st to use up a gift card...
It wouldn't be the first time. For many years Amazon offered a 3-Volume Ben Casey edition. It was expensive. It was truly awful, and a real bootleg. I know because I was dumb enough to buy them. Here's two of them.
Ben Casey-TV Series- 20 Classic Episodes -4 Disc Set-Volume TWO
Ben Casey-TV...
Yes aspect ratio is corrected Jerry. I rebought the same complete volume, but that won't help the image quality except of course, as I'm sure you know, select episodes are quite watchable, like for example, one of my favs, S01E05 The Strengthening Angels (Nov.04.1960), and who the heck knows why?
Les, you will absolutely see where Land of the Giants originated from, and at the same time you'll be supporting one of the very last outfits, ClassicFlix, bringing classic tv to physical media.
Thank you Jeff.
Welcome I did forget to mention the transfers are awfully poor on the Gentle Ben but still I enjoyed it.
That's never stopped you before, particularly when there's a *deal*.
Wow Jeff that is a GREAT PRICE. I see it's now listed at 50 bucks!!! Too bad I boycotted purchase from Amazon as of earlier this year. Why do you refer to it as the "box o' junk" edition? I really like the Gentle Ben series which I've had for some time and I've already begin watching World of...
Unfortunately, one of the very worst DVD releases ever given to a top tier television series. Thankfully, what is now streaming originates from a far better source. Something I had waited many decades for.
I bought The Little Rascals: (Centennial Edition) back on May 12th from DeepDiscount on BackOrder so I didn't get it until the end of June. It's very impressive. I'll probably be watching it until the end of next year.
There's a newbie who is wondering, Are people still blind buying physical...
Thanks Jeff. Not sure if I'm deciphering the grabs correctly but the Umbrella grabs look a bit better than the Network, at least in regards to these two.
When I briefly viewed the episode which Randall posted, S01E03 - Some Thing For a Rainy Day, I was unimpressed by the quality so...
Thanks Randall. Uh oh, Only 1 left in stock - order soon it says at Amazon for that KochVision release!
Well whatever that Special Edition is or was it appears to be OOP.
Appreciate the info I'll likely purchase the Network release. :thumbs-up-smiley:
Randall your fine Photo Commentary on The Baron (1966-1967) is intriguing and has me searching for a copy. Why are there three listings on Amazon? The first from 2007, the second from 2009 and a very expensive Special Edition with no release date? Thanks.
Just pulled out of my mailbox and loaded You Bet Your Life - The Best Episodes. As you noted Jeff not remastered decent quality. Looks like a digitized attempt was made by Shout to sharpen/improve the image. Your screen grabs look better than what I'm watching. Take it easy on that modification...
I must be slipping in my old-er age Randall. Completely missed that. Guess I'm too busy screen capping or watching the NBA but I'll have it shortly.
Thanks Pal!

Thanks for jogging my memory. That's why I recalled it being edited because it wasn't complete episodes of You Bet Your Life. One appearance will never be forgotten. Tor Johnson professional wrestler turned horror film actor. Only horrible clips exist on YouTube but somewhere in my VHS...
Why thank you Jeff. That is just about the best that I expected with the usual inconsistencies from one show to another but better than much of the stuff streaming on YouTube. How I long for the days when WPIX here in New York aired the YBYL syndicated package at around 4am 7 days a week and...
Thanks Jeff. You never quite know what you'll get from Shout, but at least one HTF member endorsed both. If I don't like 'em then I'll tell you who it was.
Back in 2017 I bought this one. Don't make the same mistake I did.
It's from FilmDetective, the same? Note the DVD cover case says 3.5+...
Happy to say I finally found something left to buy on physical media. I love Groucho and have resigned myself to the fact that this series and its 211 episodes, that's right 211 episodes will never get a proper complete series DVD release.
So on Saturday I purchased these on eBay...
