    You can't get any new VHS or SVHS tape decks. They stopped manufacturing them several years ago. You can still get DVD, DVD/Blu-Ray, and DVD/Blu-Ray/Blu-Ray 4K players.

    Thrift stores are quite happy to take DVDs, Blu-Ray discs, CDs, and LPs. They may not be interested in VHS tapes, or may have restrictions such as "Disney titles only." I haven't seen many Compact Cassettes at these places, so they might not be interested in those, either.
