I didn’t mind them but it did sound like a lot of scripted ass kissing.

Viewership has been steadily increasing since 2021 when it hit a low of 10.5 million viewers. That was the COVID hostless ceremony. So I would say it’s good news. Viewers are coming back.

I think potential upsets are Best Actor and Actress. Plus many of the technical awards. Hell the only locks I feel are supporting performances. Picture and director too maybe.

I’ll be putting up my full Oscar predictions later today. Last year I got 18/23. This year will be tough. Lots of potential for upsets and surprises.

I thought Ruffalo was terrific and would get my vote.

2 BP nominees left for me. Zone Of Interest which I’m seeing Wednesday. And Maestro which I’ll watch before the ceremony.

Catching up on the Best Picture nominees, my wife and I watched American Fiction. I thought it was good not great. Smart witty script with a great performance by Jeffrey Wright. The wife loved it.
