That situation is a catch-22 though. If they switch to an older actor, it doesn't look like the character that we've seen for the bulk of the movie but if they put Jessica Chastain in old age makeup, it looks like Jessica Chastain in old age makeup. Either one is going to momentarily take you...
I hadn't really thought of it before but I think Interstellar was his best movie. The only things that even come close for me are Memento and Inception.
According to Wikipedia, it was 66 minutes. Scroll down about 3/4 of the page to find 2014/Interstellar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IMAX_DMR_films
Once again, it's Wikipedia so who know how accurate the info is but that seems about right to me.
As much as I liked Interstellar, I don't know if I'd want to pay to see it a third time either but I'd say this is likely to truly be your last chance to ever see it in IMAX again.
Personally, I want to go into a movie knowing as little as possible so I can be surprised the first time that I see it. I think it's fair to assume that most moviemakers want an audience to watch a movie and go with the story rather than thinking "I read on the internet that X is going to die...
Yeah, I stay out of a thread once the movie opens if I don't want to read spoilers. As a courtesy, I don't openly use spoilers when discussing a movie for at least the first weekend or two but after that, I think it's sorta fair game to talk about.
Nolan talks about the sound mix here:

I assumed it would just be projected on the IMAX screen just without any scenes filling the screen. Then again, you'd think I'd have learned what happens when I assume. :)
It seems like The Hateful Eight will get as big of a 70mm release as Interstellar has. Since Abrams is a big booster of film, the new Star Wars movie might get one too.
For those that saw the movie in 70mm, did they have trailers before the movie?
At my theater's ticket window, there was a sign posted saying that there was no trailers before Interstellar in IMAX (presumably to let people know they couldn't be 20 minutes late) and at first, I thought that it...
That's true but looking at Box Office Mojo, it's also worth noting that those other Nolan movies are the 4th, 7th and 53rd highest grossing movies ever made so that's a tough trio to beat. Especially when you consider the competition with other holiday movies and the holidays themselves.
I can't stand how long movies are today and while this movie is long, it doesn't drag and it feels like it moves faster than many other movies with shorter run times.
That doesn't reflect what I heard but I had a great seat in the dead center of the theater. There were parts where the music was mixed high but it definitely never made the dialogue impossible to hear. I had no problem making out any dialogue (other than when I previously mentioned the handful...
I just saw it and I loved it. And I'm not a guy who thinks that Nolan walks on water.
The only time I had some trouble hearing the dialogue is a handful of times when they were lifting off. And I took that as more of a creative decision that the characters could hear each other via headsets so...
