Thanks.
I'm really impressed the original version of "Hoodlum Rock" resurfaced. I thought it was lost forever, when the old Fox DVD had the Syndicated version.
Brian, can you please answer a couple of questions for me?
1) Is the voice of the woman who said she was beat-up by her husband in "Ask Jennifer", the original meek sounding voice, or the confident-sounding, redubbed woman, in the 1990's Syndication version? Please double check.
2) Is it...
Here's a question I have:
Why do some scenes with replaced music have the original dialogue left alone, but not others? Were there some scenes where the music was added in post and not added in live?
The redubbing on recent versions of some episodes is bad, but I heard the most annoying has to be the scene where a middle-aged woman was clearly redubbed in the 90's version by a man trying to sound like a woman.
I heard about this on IMDB.
Weird how Paul McCartney is okay with his two songs being cleared for the show, but not The Beatles ("I'm Down", "Here Comes the Sun", and "Come Together").
How about Johnny Olson? Is his voice intact in the episode Real Families, or is it some generic announcer dude? Here is how Johnny Olson sounded like. Keep in mind that sometimes, generic music was replaced on this show, too.
How about Thank Heavens for Little Girls? Is it intact? I find it...
