    Please Don’t Eat the Daisies was another typically pleasant series from the era. The vivacious Pat Crowley is still alive at 89, her persona fit the character perfectly - not an easy task following up Doris Day in the film version.

    This was a really funny show, and Paul Ford was always a delight. A very young Clint Howard I recall was also a very amusing part of the ensemble. I’d put in a vote for the silly but sometimes hilarious Camp Runamuck. Like Baileys of Balboa it was just the one season.
