Hi All,
I have a pioneer VSX-922, almost 3 years old. It is used max 5-6 times a month, when i get a chance to watch a Blueray or PS4 alone. All worked great until the other day when i could hear no voice. On testing various configs, i have worked out that the output from the centre speaker port no longer works, or at least is very quiet and crackly.
My question is, A) do i pay to get this fixed, as told it could run into hundreds, or should i cut my losses and get a new amp, and B) is there a way to cross over or make the amp output voice from other speakers, so not having the centre one is not an issue?
also, if anyone has had this fault, what was it. Very disappointed in Pioneer to be honest, thought something that costs £500 quid would last a lot longer than this.
