It was announced via the Costco Connection "inside costo" section that Costco will be selling Samsung 4K UHD Players "Warehouse(store) and at coscto.com"

This intrepid (or insipid ?) reporter went to his local store to see they did not have any on display
.

Checking online the "model number is"
Samsung UBD-KM85c
This appears for all intents and purposes to be the Samsung UBD 8500 - with an HDMI cable included

tem #1118585

I saw it on display at a local Costco last weekend. Sorry, but the bug hasn't hit me yet, so I wasn't even interested enough to look at it up close or note the price or anything.

It's $319.99 on bestbuy.com although they have open box units for $295.99.

Yeah but they price match Costco. And you can talk them down. I don't think you can do that at Costco can you?

I've never seen that at Best Buy. The floor employees at mine can't even show you where the bathroom is without a manager's approval. More power to you.

I make it a point to become friendly with the managers. Plus I give them a lot of business being an elite plus member.

Which is what?
Basically, bring your receipt and the item. Get a refund. I haven't tried it with media... Well actually I returned a computer (died after one day) and I bought a "copy" (key) of Microsoft Office. Because of MS's draconian policy of tying the key to a specific computer - which was now DEAD-- they took back the MS office key as well. (They were both on the same receipt)

So it's 90 days on electronics. Not bad. I get 45 as an elite plus member at Best Buy with no yearly fee.

Yeah, but you can't buy 50 lb bags of pinto beans or huge trays of chocolate chip muffins at Best Buy. ;)

My Costco warehouse now has the Samsung UBD-KM85c available ... with the $80.00 rebate it is $299.99. There's a hint they MAY be stocking In the Heart of the Sea ...

... and everything would be awesome if they start to sell The Lego Movie

on 4k UHD bluray as well :) ... In addition to Batman v Superman already in stores!
