Drop ceiling options that don't suck? (1 Viewer)

Our home theater and game room are going to be in our currently unfinished basement. Since there's so much conduit and piping running along various parts of the ceiling, the guys I'm working with suggested using drop ceiling. That way, if something were to go wrong, we wouldn't have to tear a hole in the drywalled ceiling to fix the problem. I agree with them.

I'm looking for ideas and suggestions. We don't want to get stuck using that nasty '80s popcorn drop ceiling tile crap.

There are several speaker brands that even have drop ceiling mounts or adapters. There are a of more aesthetically pleasing tiles available these days.
