VIZIO Announces Its Holiday Must-Have List

As the holiday season approaches, VIZIO is starting to remind us which tech gifts to seek out over the Halloween, Black Friday, and Holiday breaks. The company has announced pricing on a number of earmarked products, ranging from sound bars under $100, to premium quality values that will ‘have your readers clamoring for more info.’

The 2018 P-Series is for consumers seeking a smart TV packed with high-quality performance features. The latest P-Series collection features a 3-sided bezel-less industrial design, a blend of 4K HDR picture quality enhancements and smart TV and smart home capabilities. With HDR support for HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG, up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness and over one billion colors courtesy of Ultra Color Spectrum, the P-Series collection delivers premium UHD-level color, clarity and contrast for ‘the most demanding videophiles.’ The 55-inch P-Series retails now for $799.99.

For ‘budget-minded’ consumers looking for a picture quality upgrade from other entry-level TVs on the market, they might want to take a look at the 2018 E-Series 4K HDR Smart TVs. The E-Series features VIZIO’s Active Full Array backlight with HDR support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. VIZIO’s full array LED backlighting utilizes up to 16 zones of local dimming, allowing LEDs to adjust to match the light and dark portions of on-screen content, resulting in a picture with ‘deeper blacks and brighter whites.’ The 43-inch E-Series TV is a budget UHD TV, which the company also says is ‘perfect’ for 4K gaming, a second bedroom, college dorm, or apartment, and lists for $349.99.

For cinema sound from every angle, including above, VIZIO’s SB36512-F6 Home Theater Sound System with Dolby Atmos support provides for immersive in-home audio. The system features 5.1.2 channels of audio: three channels in the bar match the on-screen action, while the wireless subwoofer adds low frequencies. Dolby Atmos processing directs surround effects to the two satellite surround channels and two independent, upward-firing speakers in the bar that reflect sounds off the ceiling for ‘every direction’ surround sound. The system is available for $499.

VIZIO’s SB362An-F6 is a ‘budget-minded’ all-in-one sound bar with built-in dual subwoofers and boasts 97dB of audio output. DTS Virtual:X creates simulated overhead surround sound for an immersive experience without all the speakers. This sound bar is a way to step up the audio quality of a TV and be in the middle of the action. Available for under $100 at Walmart and Costco.
