The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

The Specials

–There MAY be a printed Best Buy flyer this week.  Or, maybe not.  I don’t know.

–Best Buy’s Weekly Ad is available online at THIS LINK.

–Target this week has an EXCLUSIVE BLU-RAY RELEASE of Fifty Shades Freed.  The release includes more than 30 minutes of bonus content.  You WILL pay a $3 premium for the extra content, however.  The bonus version is priced at $22.99.

–Target is also advertising last week’s Blu-ray releases of Peter Rabbit ($19.99) and 12 Strong ($22.99).

–And Target has the following “Movies and TV Picks for mom” advertised.  Most of these are Blu.  Some I can’t tell from the ad.  I’ll list those in parentheses.

$10.00:  The Grease Collection(!), Fifty Shades of Grey, The Girl on the Train, Girlstrip, (and La La Land, Snatched and Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life which look to be DVD).

$15.00:  The Shape of Water, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, I Tonya, The Post, Murder on the Orient Express, The Greatest Showman (and The Crown: Season 1 and This Is Us: Season 1 on DVD).

–Target’s Weekly Ad is available at THIS LINK.

Hey RoundUppers!

Some eclectic titles this week! Enjoy!

I'm traveling so I decided to post up a day or so early. I figured there probably wasn't any reason to wait on whether or not there'd be a BB flyer this weekend (since there hasn't been for the past month). Plus, I'm not where I could put my hands on one till Sunday...if there even is one.

Safe shopping!

Happy trails, Mike. A couple of titles for me this week Gun Crazy and Saving Private Ryan. I'll pick up Moonrise too from Criterion during a sale.

Thanks as always, Mike. Safe travels!

Just Saving Private Ryan in UHD for me. Never picked it up on Blu-Ray, so it's not a double dip.

Same here about Saving Private Ryan. I bought it on DVD, but it's such a harrowing film to sit through that I only watched it once in all the years I've had it. (I saw it at the theater in its initial run.) I do think the UHD would be in order. I've also always liked Source Code, but the Blu will do me fine until that one gets a drastic reduction. Want Gun Crazy, too.

Thanks for the early RoundUp, Mike.

Thank you, Mike, and have a great trip wherever you are going.

Since I got the regular Blu-ray of Phantom Thread last month, nothing for me this week.

Release date for those two titles is May 15th.
Are you sure? The release date on Flicker Alley’s website lists 5/8 for both. Plus I should get Windjammer tomorrow.

Hang on, looks like Amazon is selling it next week. So you’re right. I think Flicker just released it a week early if you ordered it through their website.

Echoing others, Saving Private Ryan in 4K. I also have Batman Ninja ordered, but I’ll likely cancel it. This month is brutal with titles.

Thanks Mike!

Go figure.

Best Buy must be tracking my physical activity and knew that I was out of town this weekend. I came home last night to find a BB flyer in my Sunday paper!
