CEDIA unveils finalists for Home Technology Professional Awards

CEDIA has named the Americas region (and Asia Pacific region) finalists for the 2019 CEDIA Home Technology Professional Awards competition. The awards recognize the best projects that CEDIA home technology professional members have completed during the last year, and as determined by the organization’s own panel.

“CEDIA members continue to provide exceptionally great projects that are reviewed by our esteemed technical judging panel,” said CEDIA Director of Member Engagement Jenny Scott. “The caliber of craftsmanship, style, and creativity on display through the competition is amazing. This year’s three CEDIA Awards celebrations will be exciting experiences and feature some of the industry’s most stunning work from a diverse global community of professionals.”

Americas region winners will be announced at the CEDIA Awards Celebration & Leadership Conference July 24-25 in Chicago. Asia Pacific region winners will be announced in conjunction with Integrate, Australia’s premier annual AV and integration trade show, August 27-29 in Melbourne, Australia. EMEA region finalists will be announced later this month, and EMEA winners and global winners will be honored at the CEDIA EMEA Awards event September 26 in London.

 

Martin, a seasoned journalist and AV expert, has written for several notable print magazines. He’s served in key roles at Lucasfilm’s THX Division, NEC’s digital cinema division, and has even consulted for DreamWorks. Despite his illustrious career, Martin remains rooted in his passion for cinema and acting, with notable appearances in several Spielberg films, Doctor Who, and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. He currently resides in San Francisco.
