Blu-ray Review Blondie: The Complete 1957 Television Series Blu-ray Review

Hi Dave! Looking forward to Angel. But I noticed in your post above you mentioned The Charles Farrell Show as. A possible release. Any chance for that one? It was a favorite of mine as a kid, and WPIX in New York ran those 12 or 13 episodes over and over.

Blu-ray Review The Abbott and Costello Show Season 2 Blu-ray Review

So moving along , I finished disc one. Everything still looks terrific, but South Of Dixie looks a little soft. So, I’m wondering if that was one of the two episodes with some damage to the master? If so, 3D Archive is to be commended, because it looks light years better than any previous...

Press Release Classic Film Historian Phil Hopkins Launches Film Masters

I’ve bought most of what Film Masters has released. I’m looking forward to further releases. I like the horror, And Sci-fi , but I’m hoping we see restorations of other genres. Things like Why Must I Die, The Strip, Pied Piper Of Hamlin -PD films that have been released in lousy quality.

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

/ Right. That’s another show many of us would like to see. I have a mediocre set put out by Nostalgia Merchant with fifty or so episodes, but I’d love to see it get a legitimate release.,I thought the show was PD.

    Your thoughts on Kino-Lorber Blu-rays

Pretty understandable! Once you have a very large collection of DVDs , Blu-rays and audio, it becomes increasingly difficult to recall what you have and don’t have! I’m always forgetting if I have a movie on DVD or Blu-ray which makes it tough when trying to decide whether to upgrade!

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

Sony seems to control a lot of stuff they have no interest in!

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

Don’t forget MPI provided some episodes of Love That Bob for Shout Factory’s Dobie Gillis set and stated they were from an upcoming Love That Bob Complete Series release. So they were at least thinking about that show at one point!

Yes, and it SEEMS like WAC now has a different feeling and policy toward the old TV programs . Time will tell!

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

I think WABC -TV owns the last three seasons and has no interest in the show.

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

Does anyone know how Ozzie and Harriet sold for MPI? I’m hoping that sales were good enough so that they might consider releasing another vintage TV series, like Love That Bob.

    Warner Archive Announcements Thread

True, but you can release those shows one season at a time defraying the costs a bit. I’d like to think the fans, would support those efforts right to the finish of each series. Incidentally, lots of music in the Ozzie And Harriet show, and MPI cleared the music season by season until all 14...

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

I just noticed there’s a recent book about Ozzie Nelson called The Adventures Of Ozzie Nelson America’s Favorite TV Pop.The author is John Holmes. The book is published by Mc Farland. Based on the reviews, the TV show ( and radio show) are covered extensively, with summaries of every episode...

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

So working my way through season 6. Some of the best twisting plots in this season. Tutti Frutti is a true classic, but the episode with the flower mix up, the 14 mile hike episode and the banana split episodes are equally good, all very well written and innovative for the time. Anyone care to...
