The other way around for me. Season one featured the classic routines A&C had honed to perfection over the years. Season two was a downgrade IMHO, mostly standard comedy stuff not unique to A&C. I also missed Hillary Brooke and Stinky.
Moon River was written for 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' and was not around in 1957, so it had to be added when the episode was edited to squeeze in Ricky's segments. Meanwhile, this appears to be a scene that got removed to make room for Rick, which is kind of a shame:
iTunes has Monk complete series for $29.99. It's kind of buried though. You have to find the show Monk, then go down to the buy area and get a list of all the seasons. it will show two versions of season 1, and one of those versions turns out to be the complete series.

I can't remember which season or which episode, but my ears did perk up when someone mentioned Dave being in law school. Rick or one of the guys, not Ozzie or Harriet.
In one of the earlier episodes, with a Kodak film opening plug at the beginning, they show Rick and Dave with their dates taking pictures at a zoo (I think). Dave's date appears to be June, perhaps her first appearance on the show.
