Its not an exaggeration when you screen it on a 150" curved scope screen. Its horrible and again I say the worst print I have out of 3000+ films.

Is there any one BD copy of Fall of the Roman Empire thats good qaulity? My BD copy is one of the worst I have out of 3000 BDs, its discusting it almost looks like DVD upscaled, I just cant watch it!

I would love The Big Country in 4K. Does anyone know if there was ever a stereo or 5.1 track, all we have on the BD is mono.

Yes that is certainly my home cinema! I was a cinema projectionist for 35+ years and trained at the age of 16 by two real old showmen, they both are well and truly gone today.

My Favourite film of all time. I was dissapointed with the black crush in the HDR copy when my BD copy never had it. Just check and compare the black suit of Cecil B. DeMilles in the prologue between the HDR and BD copy, one has detail the other doesnt.

Yes Ben Hur indeed, when will we see it in HDR????

Was the film only made with mono sound in 1958? It has such a great score it would be wonderful to hear it in 3 or 4 track.

Will this version have a stereo track rather than the old mono one we have?

Yes all of these should be on 4K UHD by now. I will not buy anymore BDs of these films until they release them on UHD.

oh dear why do they keep releasing the same old same old, they need to up the game and get them all finally on 4K. We all have the old BD releases....

Ive never ever heard of that, it certainly must have been only in a handful of locations as there were no 65mm projectors out there on mass thats for sure. Can you show a link of this please?

From a 70 year old timer projectionist whos spent a lifetime screening 35mm and many 70mm Roadshow prints. 65mm prints were all blown up to 70mm, there were no 65mm projectors. Most of the big Roadshow 70mm films were shot on 65mm film. They were released for exhibition and projected in 70mm in...
