This looks to have the budget of a 1970's Dr. Who episode. There is no way to do this story properly with the home computer CGI effects the trailer has. I wouldn't put any hope into this being a decent film. The website lacks any professionalism and the "news" releases are full of cheesy hype...

I'd like to see the unmatted "misframed" version someday. Several scenes in this film seem tightly composed for 2.35:1, especially certain dialog scenes, with heads, feet and hands getting clipped...As though they didn't always protect the scope ratio when shooting and that the unmatted...

I love that score. Atmospheric and foreboding. It, along with the production design/special effects to a slightly lesser degree, are the reason I own and watch that movie (and to laugh at the dialog).

This sounds like it's becoming a poll, so I'l chime in... I liked it, too. I was never bored, always wondering what was going to happen next, I liked the pteranodons, and the kid wasn't annoying.

I'd have to agree. Lots of subtle environmental effects, in addition to the bombastic directional cannon fire. Plus, when it storms, you get actually cold and wet. :)
