Personally, I'd rather see Gilmore Girls in 4x3 but I can live with the empty space of the sides of the frames. It beats the hell out of cropping it to achieve 16x9.

I can take some nonsense like that for a while but at a certain point, I'd have said something that would have hurt her feelings. :laugh: I saw The Phantom Menace on Friday night with a shockingly crowded theater and the only line that I heard elicit sarcastic chuckles was "Are you an angel?"...

Yeah, I went to that one and had to alter my sleep schedule like a week before it due to it starting at 4:30 AM. I started going to bed earlier and earlier each night until I went to bed at 6 PM the night before and woke up at midnight to get there early enough to get good seats.

Josh, how many of the nine movies did you get through? Just the prequels?

I guess we'll be seeing either Revenge Of The Sith (for its 20th anniversary) or maybe The Empire Strikes Back (45th anniversary) next May. I wouldn't be surprised if a slow weekend this August or September gets Attack Of The Clones.

I haven't seen it yet but I'm going to watch it on Disney +. Now I just have to find the time to do that.

The difference is that they don't release the box set of Sgt. Pepper and wait about a year to release the standard CD. I don't mind the existence of a box set, what I don't like is being forced to buy the box set or wait for them to release a reasonably priced and reasonably sized version after...

No need for Neve Campbell to cause this movie more public issues but I think everyone knows that an actor being fired and another dropping out was the reason they stepped up to pay her what she deserves.

Yeah, I ordered mine on April 29 so I can't really complain about the wait. :laugh:

Amazon gave me an estimate of May 27 on the UHDs. I assume I'll get them in about two weeks but the current estimate is basically a month away.

Fair enough and I hope you enjoy it but I'd rather have the option to save the space and the $20. Like others have said though, there will be a standard release down the road so I'll eventually get it.

For my show, there was twenty minutes of trailers, then the 7 or 8 minute discussion between Ridley Scott and Fede Alvarez and then the movie.

I'm going tomorrow night to see TPM. Somewhat surprisingly, there's already about 40 tickets sold for that time.

I hope the boutique labels' trend of having a box of useless trash ends. Unfortunately, everyone now copies Arrow so the space-wasting box, book and tiny poster (if you can something that small a poster) is now requisite but a tape too? I get it, Hackman records people on tape in the movie but...
