TPM is my favorite prequel as well. I think that is because it is the most George Lucas prequel movie before making some adjustments because of people's hatred of Jar Jar etc. Also the romantic dialogue in AotC on RotS is just way too cringe worthy for me.
It's a shame that I've been seeing people lambasting The Fall Guy for not having huge numbers for the first weekend of May. The vast majority of big films opening the first weekend in May for the past 2 decades have been huge established franchises. The Fall Guy is a good movie, it's not it's...
The marathon wasn't playing anywhere near me and I probably wouldn't have gone anyway since the episodes 1 - 7 marathon messed me up for a week in 2015.
On my way home from work tonight one of the road signs that usually gives traffic advisories said something like "Leave Hyperspace to Han Solo."
I will probably see TPM on Tuesday as I am planning on seeing The Fall Guy tomorrow and I am busy on Monday.
I saw a poster for this at my local Regal today.

"See the entire live-action Spider-Man series on Mondays from April 15 through June 3. Watch the trilogy that started it all with Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man. Then, get a different take on the...
I remember thinking for most of the movie that the music didn't effect the movie for most of the running time, then I had trouble hearing dialogue in a couple scenes in the third act. In the first half plus of the movie the score usually just played during tennis scenes where there was little...
I saw this today and thought it was great. The Score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross was quite good but it was extremely loud. You would expect music that loud in a movie during a club or concert scene. Also sometimes you can't hear dialogue in scenes where there is score.

Not the Fathom Event, but my local independent theater which shut down in February when the lease holders decided to drop the lease just reopened today and they are showing classic films today. I went to The Wizard of OZ with my mom. It looked and sounded great and the theater has DLP...

I think Disney just seriously underestimated the demand for the Cameron films. They are decades old and have never been available on HD physical media. These aren't films where people might just decide to hang on to their old Blu-Rays.
Also they are from a director who has 3 films in the top...

I went to every store that sells movies locally today and found no James Cameron discs anywhere. Still a very big week for me, I got Aquaman 2, Poor Things, Anyone But You, and a release I didn't see an announcement for. A 4K steel book for the 2022 All Quiet on the Western Front.
I can't decide if Pacino completely messed best picture up by not reading the nominees or if he wasn't supposed to because of the segments for each nominated film during the night. The nominees weren't read for original song either.
I tuned in at 7:45 to catch the end of the pre-show and they were presenting the screenplay awards. I quickly caught up with Deadline and saw the rest of the awards. Of course the start early and finish early.
Congrats to Oppenheimer for dominating tonight's awards.
I just saw this tonight as Regal's Monday Mystery Movie. In this movie Nicholas Winton (Anthony Hopkins) plays a man who led a British effort to rescue mostly Jewish refugee children in Prague in the months before World War II by sending them to England. The younger version of Nicholas is...
