They should replace the Boetticher films with the following Sony-owned Randolph Scott Westerns:
-Gunfighters (1947)
-Coroner Creek (1948)
-The Walking Hills (1949)
-The Doolins of Oklahoma (1949)
-Ten Wanted Men (1955)
-7th Cavalry (1956)
I started to compile a list of MGM-owned movies into an Excel Spreadsheet that have not been released on Blu-ray in North America. I only included films I thought had some commercial viability for release... and it ended up being just over 450 films in total.
I really went into depth (it took...

The extended edition of The Fellowship of the Ring on Blu-ray had a horrible blue/green tint added to it that was not present in any other version (The theatrical Blu-ray / The theatrical DVD / The extended edition DVD). It appears they fixed it in this 4K release...
I've been waiting for Attack! for years. So very, very happy it's finally coming. Hopefully Kino has also licensed Apache (1954) and The Hills Run Red (1966), 2 westerns that have also been held hostage by Shout Factory for years (their license expired the same time as Attack! did).
Interesting that there is no films made after the 80s in that list. This really must be their way of gauging which classics titles to release on Blu-ray & UHD.
There are definitely some classic titles I love that have been omitted from that list but I guess that was bound to happen & I'm not...
Kino Insider,
Got my copy of A Pure Formality. Really good film, thank you for the release. Just curious, any plans to release The Professor (1986) and Everybody's Fine (1990) from the same director? There doesn't seem to be any discs of these films released anywhere in the world. Not sure of...
A little late to the game, but here's my 101 film wishlist for the new Universal deal:
Thunderbolt 1929 Josef von Sternberg
Hell's Angels 1930 Howard Hughes
Iron Man 1931 Tod Browning
City Streets 1931 Rouben Mamoulian
An American Tragedy 1931 Josef von Sternberg
Air Mail 1932 John Ford...
I second The Wild Bunch as desperately needing a new release and add the following early format releases:
-Dark City (1998)
-The Dirty Dozen (1967)
-A History of Violence (2005)
-The Assassination of Jesse James (2007)
Kino Insider, if you guys do another deal with Studio Canal, would you guys consider releasing more former Criterion titles that are now OOP? I'm thinking Peeping Tom, Forbidden Games, Le Trou, Kapò, and The Third Man (the new 4K restoration released on Blu only in Europe)?
Kino Insider - Any plans to release Robert Aldrich's WW2 film Attack! (1956) now that Shout Factory's license has finally expired? They only released it on DVD so it would be nice to finally get this great film on Blu-ray.
Thanks to WAC over the years my wishlist for them has been slowly shrinking. Their release slate is always interesting and the quality is top notch. I look forward to seeing what they bring out in 2020. Here's what I have left on my wishlist:
Fury (1936)
Westward the Women (1951)
Splendor in...
