They’re discontinuing their DVD and blu ray sales (after fading out their selection of stock), but the good news is: Netflix is going to have brick and mortar rental stores!

I saw a bit of this on TCM yesterday. It looked great. Apparently it’s already been restored.

Someone’s probably already said this, but isn’t it time TCM had a stand-alone streaming app d so I that those of us who want to be truly free of cable cords can enjoy it?

Like many of you, I first saw this during its first run and like Alien and Halloween, had the great experience of seeing it in a packed house and collectively jumping out of our skins several times throughout the showing. That’s something a home theater will never be able to produce.

Does anyone really care?

How does one purchase?
