Warner Bros Archive Wish List 2022 and Beyond!!

Cabin in the Sky is coming in January and The Opposite Sex was released back in 2020, though the promised replacement program for the botched audio still hasn't come to fruition. Otherwise great list!

Will Around the World in 80 Days ever get a special deluxe edition like The Wonderful World of The Brothers Grimm?

I just figured, since it was the general release version and the one that's been on home media and streaming for so long, it might have made sense to include it. Still, no big loss. Just two other things I still wonder about. One, how much of the 24 fps version was shot again rather than just...

Will Around the World in 80 Days ever get a special deluxe edition like The Wonderful World of The Brothers Grimm?

These are extremely encouraging news! 80 Days, along with the other 70mm films Warner controls, are at top of my most wanted list, and while George had already let slip that the film was "in the queue", I was still thinking of all the hurdles they'd have to clear. Besides having to essentially...

    Warner Archive Announcements Thread

Do you remember when and where exactly did he say that? I remember him saying a couple months ago that they were working on "multiple" Best Picture winners and that 80 Days was "in the queue", but specifically that all five were coming this year I don't recall. Hope you're right, though.

    Warner Archive Announcements Thread

I understand you not wanting to bother him just because we're getting jittery. Still, some kind of heads-up would be really nice. My thinking is either that they're a week late for some reason and we'll get them in the next few days, or they're going back to announcing only a month early rather...

Warner Bros Archive Wish List 2022 and Beyond!!

George Feltenstein recently revealed that we can expect between three and four silent films in the next year and change, and maybe more after that. I wouldn't be surprised if The Wind and The Crowd weren't some of the ones chosen.

OSCAR BEST PICTURE WINNERS NOT YET ON BLU RAY

According to Mr. Feltenstein 80 Days is "in the queue", more specifically as of a month or so ago they were in the process of searching for the best available elements around the world. He also said that they'd recently updated their scanners to work with 70mm, but given the likely state of the...

Got questions for Mr George Feltenstein of the Warner Archive Collection? Ask em here!

Hopefully it's not frowned upon if I ask another question, but I'd like to know if Mr. Feltenstein is still working on bringing back official Facebook announcements(with technical specs) as well as clips and trailers of new releases on YouTube. If I can only have one post answered I'd rather it...

Got questions for Mr George Feltenstein of the Warner Archive Collection? Ask em here!

This one is semi-specific. Given Mr. Feltenstein's recent comments on Around the World in 80 Days and Raintree County it seems that WAC is at least not unwilling to work with 70mm material despite the cost and/or workload. That being the case, can he hint at any good news in the future regarding...
