Then why does he tell her? Stop saying the line is there for the audience; we're not in the movie. The line has to make sense in the context of the movie. Why does Mr. Fantastic tell Wanda how Black Bolt can kill her? And if you mention the audience again, I'm gonna tear my hair out.
So Reed wasn't telling her what Black Bolt can do, he was telling us? In the context of the movie, he was speaking to her. He gave away to her how she could defeat Black Bolt.
Why do you think it has to be either/or?
Well that possibility was never actually raised in the movie so could she have considered it if it had been? We'll never know.
