Is it just me, or does anyone else think it is weird that nearly every Oscar bait movie is a Lionsgate movie?
-Manchester By The Sea
-La La Land
-Moonlight
-Hell Or High Water
-Lion
-Hacksaw Ridge
all Lionsgate.
I must have missed something along the way. I had no idea Lionsgate has become...
I think he is a great actor. But I have seen a couple interviews with him that were downright cringeworthy. Mean, and condescending. I hope he treats his fans better than the press.
As for Moonlight winning best picture, even though I disliked the movie(I could hardly sit through it once, And will never watch it again) I can't deny the the acting was stellar, and great direction.
Oh well, it isn't the first time I have disagreed with the choice for best picture.
She was perfect in the role. Such a sweet, and gentle presence that elevated the film a great deal in my opinion. I look forward to watching 'Loving' again.
