That's a perfect explanation. But what happens when Grey Worm learns Jon is not at the wall? :D

I did wonder how anyone knew Jon killed Dany. There were no witnesses anywhere around, and no body. The only logical answer would be that he turned himself in, but why? Just being noble? Finally, why did the council have to choose a new king? There were at least 4 people present at the...

While there was never any doubt that he would end up with the wildlings once they announced he would be rejooning the nights watch, I got the sense that Jon was prepared to stay at Castle Black, and was surprised to see it manned by the wildlings instead of the nights watch. I.e. they came to...

Of course the real world answer is because the writers said he could breathe unlimited fire and it's not real. We're just postulating about the in-universe mechanics that allow the constant fire. Like just for a second, pretend it's all real and everything you see on screen actually exists...

 Oh, pardon me. Off to play the grand piano are you? The dismissive 'games are a waste of time' attitude tells me all I need to know I guess.

On a side note I thought they missed a big 'choice and consequence' moment when Arya told the people they needed to leave the building, then the woman she dragged out got roasted. It would have been rather powerful to see in the aftermath the people who stayed in the building slowly emerging...

Yara made it clear in a previous episode that she didn't have the resources to fight a war and was just going back to take the iron isles in the name of the Queen. I don't expect to see her again. There are multiple gates in the city that the people are trying to get through. The woman and...

I'm trying to figure out if this post is a joke. Because there certainly should be no confusion about it.

I think there's absolutely no way Jon ends up ruling now. Dany's turn cemented any possibility of that. News that he's a Targaryan is now out, and his alliance with Dany will make him public enemy no.2 now. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him be taken out with Dany before the end.

My issue is that literally everything except for Arya and the horse are completely toast and extremely dead. You're asking me to believe that out of the entire square block, Arya is the only one who survived? And then a horse magically appears and there's rays of sun shining down on it and...

Ahhhhh, what. The. Fuck? If they had cut the last 60 seconds, this would have been a 10/10 episode. But fucking seriously?? That was a major jump the shark moment.

I didn't see that at all. To me he was very clearly trying to get past the dragon, and had to keep diving back into cover as the dragon kept spotting him and shooting fire at him.

Wow, even as the author of the post defending the Arya scene, I did not get this at all. I had no clue that Jon / Viserion were anywhere near Arya. Or that Jon was in communication with Arya. So if that's what they were trying to convey, they failed miserably. I thought that Jon had just...

My guess is that it will be either Jamie or Tyrion, and be done with the crossbow that Cerci gave to Bronn.

Regarding the Dues Ex Machina of Arya at the end, I disagree on that as well. We've spent several seasons with her building up her ninja and stealh abilities. And she didn't just appear out of nowhere, there was a shot before her leaping at the Night King of the white walkers standing there...

Game of Thrones Season 8 (2019)

We did see the creation of the night king, he was one of the first men captured by the children of the forest and transformed into the Night King as a means for the children of the forest to fight against the first men. That decision really backfired against them, as it turns out that they were...

Game of Thrones Season 8 (2019)

I have no issue with so many main characters surviving in itself, it's just the manner in which they survive that's the problem. It really drives home 'plot armor' when you have thousands of people die in a battle and the main characters are literally the only ones who survive. Like Jamie and...
