This is what I had in mind, when I expressed my opinion earlier, basically saying that these discs shouldn't get stellar reviews, because if esteemed reviewers pressed for it, maaaaaaybe we would get great grainy restorations to the likes of say Arrow with FiM encodes etc. And @Robert Crawford...

I know Mr. Harris has left the discussion, but I'm really and genuinely curious: If some classic old films like My Fair Lady, Lawrence of Arabia etc. had undergone this kind of treatment, would they get the same rating? 10 for video quality?

You know, I'm almost sure that if people like Mr. Harris and other reviewers, condemned this kind of "restoration", or "re-imagining" or whatever you may call it, maybe we would get what we want. No offense to anyone, but this is how I feel.

You mean, like Terminator 2 level of degraining? Because, I'm sorry, but that looks awful to my eyes... I prefer the original grain structure and the films to look like films.
