I disagree. The point of both Raiders and Dial is that Indy (in Raiders) realizes Marion is more important than the Ark. In both films Marion is the true desire; Raiders works better IMHO because Indy realizes it. In Dial someone else realizes it for him. That hurts the movie a lot. But in both...
