I might watch something older. For instance he was in the pilot for Most Wanted that I watched last year. I’d probably avoid anything new that he’s in. I’d watch I Spy but not a new Cosby show (if there was one).
“Look…I wouldn’t be here if I wouldn’t do absolutely anything for money…it’s not like I can live comfortably on my salary for my still on the airwaves show without shilling for vulures….you got a home, they need it a lot more than your family. You’ll be dead, what do you care? It’s the right...
That is a terrible trio but they don’t bother me as much as Tom Selleck, relentlessly and ghoulishly exhorting you into a reverse mortgage that odds are you don’t need. A family friend is in dire straits because someone took out a reverse mortgage to enable a spending addiction. It’s a predatory...
Sounds like it’s worth picking up for “The Two Doctors” alone. Was this Troughton’s final appearance? Were there any crossovers during the McCoy era? And being not overly versed in the modern era, did any of the Doctors from the classic era ever appear on the new series?
Also, I’m a little...
I’ll check it out Randall…I like her outfit better on Quincy but her hair more in Mash. Speaking of hair, I probably shouldn’t talk, being as much a hairpiece candidate as ol’ Klug…and even as a teen I could give him a run for the money in the hangdog department.
Good buy Jeff, though I worry that by the end of the series you’ll have inexplicably begun relentlessly proselytizing for the Church Of The Reverse Mortgage…
Maybe that joke won’t make sense in Japan where you aren’t bombarded with Selleck’s commercials.
Quincy M.E. Seasons 1 & 2
Quincy M.E. The Final Season
I’ve had some good luck at second hand stores lately, got both of these for a quarter apiece today, one sealed and the other mint.
St. Elsewhere Season 1 at a rummage sale this morning. Never watched it back then, but for 50 cents I figured I’d probably like it, considering I like a lot of MTM stuff and since in the last few years I’m finding 1980’s series in general to be more enjoyable than I did in the actual 1980’s.
Unfortunately all the added nudity was by Cesar Romero and Victor Buono.
But seriously Randall, all those tv movies sound great!
Regarding Vic Morrow, check out Johnny Ramone’s t-shirt here:
Thanks Randall! I was both excited to find these, and slightly disappointed there weren’t more, as it appeared someone donated a sizable western collection, but most of the titles I already had (assorted mill creek 150 episode packs, the Loner, Laredo, the Guns of Will Sonnett) or wasn’t...
Your word is your bond. I don’t care if they issue a box set of the complete remastered appearances of Donna Mills with a mere $15 list price, I have faith in your ability to stick to your guns. We believe in you and support your decision. There is no turning back.
I’d like to check out J.J. Starbuck; I’m finding myself enjoying a lot of 1980’s series more than I did at the time.
I think I mentioned it in an old post, but I bought my copy of Tales color season at a flea market in Pasadena, from a guy who told me his first job was working at a service...
