I enjoyed the Assembled episode on WF. I thought the cast members talking about their grief over Chadwick Boseman really elevated this above the others. The cast and crew seemed more unguarded when discussing the film.
I recall Stan Lee saying that he didn't want his characters to just have the power of flight without something propelling them, like Thor's hammer or Iron Man's suit. He said flying like Superman (who, if you recall, was originally said to be able to leap great distances, not fly) meant that the...
I don't think the Avengers are a thing in the post-Endgame world. Iron Man, Black Panther and Black Widow are deceased, Captain America is retired, Thor is off world, Hawkeye sure seems retired too and the Hulk doing science on the beach in Mexico. As for the newer team members, Scarlet Witch is...
I really enjoyed this. Deciding what to do without Chadwick Boseman couldn't have been easy, but the movie paid fitting tribute to him and the spirit he brought to the role of Black Panther. The moments that addressed his absence were the most resonant and powerful in the film.
I'm not sure I...
I’m on my way to see this now. I’ve avoided reading this thread but wanted to know how many after-credit sequences there are? Mid-credits? Very end?
I appreciate the info!
Could it be the trailer will be after the credits of Thor? Like they did with Dr Strange and Spider-Man? I realize those two were more directly connected, but it’d be a way to surprise the audience.
Seems unlikely we’ll see a trailer next week, which is unfortunate. The movie is only 4 months away. We routinely see teasers for movies that are 6 months or more away. However, BP2 had a tough production so I imagine they’ll be working on this to the last minute.
I'm going to say this is speculation but this report fits with all the rumors we have heard about this movie. If true, it sounds like they are producing something big for the MCU.
Hollywood Reporter says production will resume in late January, with Wright.

I believe Harrison Ford said his injury on the set of The Force Awakens was “minor,” but it required he be absent from filming for weeks. The lesson: Doctors should be the judges of what’s minor and what isn’t.
Oh boy. I sure don't like TMZ, but they have a solid reputation of being right. Let's hope this isn't true.

The movie has been officially titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Still due July 8, 2022.

I agree that Boseman might very well have thought he'd be here to make the film. There are forms of colon cancer that can be extremely aggressive and cut a patient's time down dramatically. How anyone chooses to live with such a difficult illness is their business, and no one should be in the...
It’s way too soon to be speculating on what comes next. It seems like Kevin Feige and the others at Marvel are legitimately grieving their friend.
The first film made a billion dollars and is a cultural touchstone. There is no way it doesn’t get a sequel. But I don’t see Boseman being replaced...
I hope Guardians will get the July slot, but if James Gunn is taking another pass at the screenplay (as his brother Sean suggested recently), it might take until 2023, which would be a very long 6 years between Vol. 2 and 3.
