Last night TCM showed a gorgeous print of SKIPPY. What a pity that no one is interested in releasing this Oscar-winning film (Best Director) in BD. Jackie Cooper's performance was also nominated, and he should have won over the over-baked one delivered by Lionel Barrymore in A Free Soul.
And since this is the only BD of Great Expectations '47 available, I just ordered from Amazon at a very affordable price. Yesterday I ordered the BD of Hamlet '48, also very cheap.
You have included Great Expectations '47, a region B ITV release, but have not done the same with Hamlet '48, issued by the same outfit. I know you're trying to keep this list to just region A releases, so maybe Great Expectations BD should be a NO.
