    Neither Apocolypse Now nor Heaven's Gate would be considered roadshow. No reserved seats. You waited on line.     That's interesting because Cabaret opened at the Ziegfeld in NY continuous run general admission.

    I know I'm bumping a very old thread but I wish I could have seen these films in their roadshow engagements. Interestingly nobody wanted to spend roadshow ticket prices on Can-Can!
