Well...unfortunately, bad news. I contacted Movie Zyng about the release. As many suspected, this release is the same as the Shout Factory release. The only change is that the rights to market have moved from Shout to AV Entertainment.

I would think STARZ would be the better hope, of any, since they actually at times pay for restoration. However, I'm not sure "Guns of Will Sonnett" would warrant the expense by them in either name recognition or number of episodes.

I don't think anyone is expecting that. The only hope is that maybe CBS has existing tape masters that are complete but that were unavailable to Timeless when they made their release. It may be a long shot, but stranger things have happened.

Possibly, but if it is the same old transfer you aren't going to get any double dips, so how many more people are interested that don't already have it. Also, the new release isn't even the cheapest way to go. Just a few weeks to go and wait for the first review.

Looks like CBS MOD isn't completely dead. This release shows a release date of 6/13/2023. The Guns of Will Sonnet: The Complete Series (DVD) While likely not typical CBS remastering, maybe complete episodes and better prints then Timeless put out. Otherwise, why do it when the Timeless releases...
