Another excellent WW II movie like Downfall, Das Boat, Downfall of Berlin told from the German point of view. The story deals with Sergeant Ludwig a devoted and patriotic
soldier of the SS Leibatandarte. Sergeant Ludwig has fought in the major conflicts from the Eastern Front deep in Russia to the beaches of Normandy, France. Now after all this fighting he begins to understand how the war will end resulting in him having to make difficult decisions to stay alive with his friends and return to his wife.
The movie was shot with hand held cameras like Saving Private Ryan giving it a documentary type look. The Blu-ray was played in a player set to Region A. The audio is in German with English/French/German/Italian/Russian and Spanish subtitles with a running time of 116 minutes.
