I agree this is very sad news! I also send my condolences out to his family and friends.

Don't forget Lord Brett Sinclair. The pilot episode is still great, how many olives in a Dry martini?
What I like about all the different Bonds is that they all did the roles differently, and my favorite tends to change from time to time. Roger Moore was however the first Bond I saw theatrically, and that gave him a special place in my heart.

I can recommend his memoirs, My Word Is My Bond.

RIP, Sir Roger.

Roger was my favorite as well. I am 53 years old and I guess in my youth and in High School those Moore Bond flicks are still among my favorite.

Moore was suave with a capital S. Gracious. Charming. Good actor.

RIP Mr. Bond.

For us older guys, it's Sean Connery. He just wasn't physical enough for my taste in that particular role. I think my favorite film role of his was ffolkes.

The funny part when Roger Moore tried out for James Bond in Dr. No he was turned down because he was too muscular.

For Your Eyes Only is my favorite Bond movie I'll be watchin it tonight.

Rest in peace. He was my favorite Bond. Exactly how I like it. Fun, light and a gentleman.

Live and Let Die was playing at a theater near me this past weekend, I wish I had gone.
